Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid). Full remote work may be considered for candidates within Texas.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 plus a 10% bonus

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our monitoring and alerting systems, spearheading containerization efforts, and ensuring our infrastructure is resilient and cost-efficient. This includes establishing comprehensive alerting and monitoring plans using tools like Dynatrace and Azure, improving security with SSL and code signing certificates, onboarding new developers, and managing deployments and releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Cost Management: Optimize and monitor cloud costs to ensure resource efficiency.
  • Alerting and Monitoring: Implement and manage systems using Dynatrace and Azure tooling; establish enterprise-level plans.
  • Containerization: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and deployment efficiency.
  • Security Management: Manage SSL and code signing certificates; oversee security protocols.
  • Operational Excellence: Automate repetitive tasks, reduce toil, and contribute to SOC2 compliance.
  • Security and Compliance: Lead vulnerability remediations and manage penetration testing activities.
  • Jira Service Manager (JSM): Optimize and manage the migration to Jira Service Manager to streamline workload management.
  • Deployment Management: Coordinate smooth and efficient software deployments and releases.
  • Support QA Automation: Provide secure tools for QA automation, enhancing testing capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SRE roles with a focus on cloud environments, especially Azure.
  • Expertise in monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Azure solutions.
  • Proficient in container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledgeable in SSL, code signing certificates, and security best practices.
  • Experience with Jira Service Manager and ticketing system management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle both strategic and operational tasks.
